This year the authorities of the Crimean peninsula are planning to allocate considerable funds for the renewable energy support in the region, the representatives of the Fuel, Energy Industry and Innovation Policy Committee of the Republic of Crimea report. In particular, the Crimea will see the start of four wind farms construction.
According to the authorities, the new wind farms are to generate “green” energy in the Chernomorsk, Leninskoe, Belgorod and Bakhchisaray districts, which will get the Western-Crimean, Kazantip, Turgenev and Bakhchisaray wind farms respectively. Besides, the Crimean authorities assure that this is by no means their last project in the sphere of wind and solar energy industry.
