LUKOIL is going to invest about 3 billion dollars into raising the production capacity of its subsidiary OOO LUKOIL-Nizhnegorodnefteorgsintez in the period of 2012-2022, the president of the largest Russian private oil company Vagit Alekperov told the journalists on Thursday.
“LUKOIL’s investment for the coming 10 years will comprise a little bit more than three billion American dollars”, — Alekperov said during his visit to the enterprise in the town of Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
He pointed out that as a result the enterprise “guarantees providing the central part of Russia with light oil products of the highest quality”. According to Alekperov the product output will be oriented at the environmental standard Euro-5 both for gasoline and diesel fuel.
The engineering design is to be started already in 2012, the president of LUKOIL said. About 2.5 million rubles will be invested into specification development and site preparation, then the engineering design will be started and the equipment which requires long-term manufacturing will be ordered.
