The specialists of Rosneft Ltd. discovered another oil deposit in the Krasnodar Territory within the boundaries of Slavyansko-Temryukovsky license block, which is already being exploited.
As the representatives of the largest oil company in Russia say, according to the preliminary data the deposit may contain up to 500 thousand tons of ‘black gold’.
At present the first exploratory well is being developed on the site, it is estimated that in future the deposit can give no less than 220-350 thousand tons of oil a day.
Rosneft boosted the exploration work in Krasnodar Territory after the company’s president Eduard Khudainatov made a trip to the region last December.
Besides, at present Rosneft is engaged in developing a program of resource base replacement in the places of company activities situated in southern regions. The project will involve the deposit occurrences of Krasnodarneftegaz, Grozneftegaz, Stavropolneftegaz, as well as the deposits of Ingushetia and Dagestan. The program realization terms are 2012 to 2020.
According to the enterprise report data in 2010 Krasnodarneftegaz produced over 950 thousand tons of gas condensate and oil, as well as about 2.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
