Trasnsneft Resumes Oil Export to China

Transneft resumed its oil export to China through the offset of the ESPO which had been stopped earlier because of the earthquake in the Amur region. This was announced by the official representative of the company Igor Demin.

Demin also pointed out that the oil transportation via the Far East Railroad to the port of Kozmino had been resumed as well.

The grade 5.9 earthquake at depth 13 km took place in the Amur region on October 14. According to the data of the head office of the Emergency Ministry of the Russian Federation in the Amur Region, there is no information on fatal casualty and destruction.

The shocks of earthquake were recorded in the Skovorodindkiy, Mazanovskiy, Tyndinskiy, Magdagachinskiy, Zeyskiy districts and in the town of Blagoveschensk. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 760 km to the north-east of the village of Talakan in the Bureyskiy districtm 25 km to the west of the village of Solovyevsk in the Tyndinskiy district.

The fire brigades and the Emergency response groups are inspecting the population centers affected by the earthquake. The Bureyskaya and Zeyskaya hydro power plants are functioning nominally.
