The total amount of trading at the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange in the Oil Products section has exceeded 10 million dollars since the beginning of the year. As the representative of the mercantile exchange told the journalists this is more than twice as big as the total trading amount of 2010. The total number of transactions made in 2011 at the exchange auctions comprised 10, 500. According to the press-release of the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange the reached high rare of trading allows the mercantile exchange to calculate the price indicators with the high degree of representativeness.
