A celebration has been organized to honor the retired employees of the Mayskaya state district power plant.
The power engineers of Khabarovskaya Generation — the branch of OAO Far Eastern Generating Company – congratulated the senior citizens with the International Day for the Elderly. The management and the trade union of the enterprise have honored the retired employees of the Mayskaya state district power plant by organizing a festive dinner with the invited amateur talent groups, the press-service of Khabarovskaya Generation reports.
As the chairwoman of the trade union of the power plant Zhanna Talalai says it is a rare case to have so many people at a celebration. “We’ve been taking part in the village holiday annually, as sponsors. And we normally had an assembly of 30 people, and this time – over 60 guests – our retired employees and veterans”.
The guests listened to the performances by the Zavetinskie Uzory duo from the neighboring village of Zavety Illicha, the local choir Cheremukha (Bird Cherry Tree), to Mother Xenia reciting her own poema and singing a song authored by herself.
The Director of the Mayskaya state district power plant Vladimir Pavlenko addressed the retired employees with the greeting card with the words of gratitude and appreciation for the people of older generation.
