The Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) issued a new license for the right of designing and constructing generating sets for nuclear power plants, radiation sources, storage facilities for radiation-emitting material and radioactive waste storages for OAO Atomenergoproekt.
After the previous license had expired OSO Atomenergoproekt successfully underwent inspections of compliance with the terms of licensing, conducted by Rostekhnadzor. It resulted in issuing a new license, which is valid till May 30 2017.
The activities permitted by the license include design works on upgrade, reconstruction and re-equipment of the nuclear power facilities as well as designing their physical protection.
