The generating unit was stopped on July 20 as a result of switching off the turbine plant. There has been no damage of the equipment and systems of the plant, nor the violations of the limits and the safety operation terms.
On July 21 2012 at 5:45 the generating unit 3 of the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant was hooked up to the network.
At present there are two active generating units at the Kalininskaya NPP, their total loading comprises 3540Mw.
The generating unit 3 is gaining capacity at the moment.
