The main aim of creating a biofuel trading exchange under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy of Lithuania is providing biofuel purchase terms based on transparent clear and equal for everybody principles.
The creation of the trading exchange is of particular interest for small biofuel manufacturers who expect that this initiative will lead to market diversification and creating the conditions of competition with larger suppliers.
In the future the fully shaped biofuel trading exchange will become a part of the energy resources trading exchange where natural gas and oil will be traded as well.
