The construction of a biogas power plant is going to an end in Prokhorovskiy district of Belgorod region. The project is being realized by the pig-breeding holding “Agro-Belogorye”
The power plant which is to start operation already in autumn is being constructed next to the selection and genetics center belonging to the company. As a “raw material” it will use pig-breeding waste, corn silage and by-products of meet processing. This power plant is a part of a “renewable energy complex’” which also contains a solar power plant and a small wind farm.
