Rosatom and the Czech companies CEZ and Skoda JS are discussing the possibility of cooperation in the third countries, not only in Russia and the Czech Republic, the head of Rosatom Sergei Kirienko reported at the ATOMEX Forum in the Czech Republic.
‘We are today discussing with the management of CEZ and Skoda JS the ways we may o together as a consortium, not only in the Czech Republic and in Russia. There is a number of the third countries which markets we could enter and have serious opportunities and competitive advantages’, — he said.
According to Kirienko Rosatom is interested in the Czech industry. ‘We share the same technology base and it (the Czech industry)’ does not require any global reconstructions’, — he said.
Earlier Scoda JS, CEZ and the Russian ZAO Atomstroyexport and OAO Experimental and Design Organization Gidropress created Russian-Czech consortium with the aim of building the two power generating units of the Czech nuclear power plant Temelin.
