The chairman of the Managing Board of OAO FGC UES Oleg Budargin was elected a chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO IDGC of Siberia.
This decision was taken at the meeting of the Board of Directors of OAO IDGC of Siberia, which took place on October 4 2012 in Moscow.
Alexander Kharichev, the executive director on Strategy and Development, the member of the Managing Board of OAO “Russian Communal Systems” was elected to the position of the deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO IDGC of Siberia.
The merger of OAO FGC UES and OAO IDGC Holding is a step to creating a unified power grid of the country. Synchronizing their working plans, including the investment programs of both companies, will allow to reduce costs, to invest the funds into the development of grids more effectively, and as a result – to provide the stable and quality power supply for the consumers and the energy safety of the country on the whole.
