As the press-service of the IDGC of Volga branch – Orenburgenergo – reports, the power engineers in cooperation with the Government of the region prepared a special concept, which can define the order of priority of the actions in the execution of the regional program on restoration of street illumination. The program “Illuminated region” includes several tasks at once: creating comfort for residents and providing safety for road traffic.
The new document defines the requirements for the equipment which is to be used in the works. According to the regulation it is obligatory to use energy-saving bulbs and the self-supporting insulated wire.
According to the concept the illumination is to be first restored in the population centers where street illumination is present in less than 20% of streets.
