The company RIMERA which is representing the oilfield service division of the JSC Chelpipe, reached an agreement with the JSC GazpromNeft to acquire the Noyabrsk central pipe base. The sale agreement was signed recently in Noyabrsk, according to the company press service.
The deal will allow RIMERA to become one of the largest independent players in the pipe service market and will create additional opportunities to improve sales and service of the pump compressor pipes (PCP) and the oil company’s equipment.
«NCPB — one of the most effective enterprises providing pipe service from the viewpoint of technology and management. The acquisition of the NCPB will allow RIMERA to significantly improve its position on the pipe service market, to get access to technological and organizational competencies as well as some additional synergy,» — said Olga Naumova, the General Director of RIMERA.
Under the deal, the Noyabrsk central pipe base will keep long-term contracts with the enterprises of GazpromNeftl groups with guaranteed volumes of work till the end of the 2013 and the possibility of their further extension for 2 years. Through the acquisition of the NCPB the PCP’s repairing capacities of JSC RIMERA reached 750 thousand units per year. The company will get additional opportunities for development in the production and service segment of the PCP in the existing and new regions, and also will be able to come up with the proposal of complex pipe rolling.
According to the results of the deal completion, RIMERA has no plans to change the company’s management, the current wage conditions and the collective labor agreement in the enterprise will remain unchanged.
