Russian Wood Pellets Holding which plans the construction of about 10 large pellet manufacturing facilities on the territory of Russia embarks on the execution of the first stage of the project – the wood pellets plant is to be launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
As the CEO of the Holding Sergei Polischuk says, the end of October – the beginning of November of 2011 will see the signing of an equipment supply contract with Dieffenbacher company (Germany). The equipment is supposed to be delivered to the plant by July 2012. The choice of this supplier was stipulated by the high level of energy efficiency of its equipment. By the end f 2012 the planned capacity of the plant is to comprise 70 tons of pellets a year.
The volume of investment into the construction and equipment is 650 million rubles. For the manufacturing of the mentioned quantity of fuel pellets 200 cubic meters of wood will be used annually.
