The Moscow state unitary enterprise Mosvodokanal is considering the possibility of installing on the roof of its building about one hundred solar panels, which would serve as an independent supply source, the press-service of the enterprise reports.
This initiative was considered the day before during the meeting of the scientific and technical council of the enterprise.
“In the course of the scientific and technical council the project of placing 99 solar panels with the total area of 158 square meters on the roof of the MSUE Mosvodokanal located at the address Pleteshkovskiy Lane, 2. The annual output of electrical energy by a solar panel will comprise about 10 of all the energy consumed by the building. Solar panels can be used as an independent supply source”, — the release of the enterprise says.
According to the information from the press-service of Mosvodokanal, the enterprise has already initiated an investigation into the use of the energy-independent systems of water supply system parameters. In particular, on the territory of the Western water treatment plant the photodiode street lighting, which is powered by a built-in windmill and a solar panel.
“Using renewable energy sources is a promising direction in the activities of the enterprise”, — the press-release emphasizes.
