The Technical Council of IDGC of Center and Volga Region is to start working today, on May 31 in the city of Kirov. The event is to be attended by the chief engineers of the branches and the heads of the technical services of the power grid company. The Technical Council is to be headed by Sergei Andrys, the deputy director on technical issues and the chief engineer of IDGC of Center and Volga region. The event will be hosted in the Kirov-based Educational Center ‘Energetic’.
According to Sergei Andrus, such meetings provide a possibility for power engineers to exchange experiences, relating the operation of electrical distribution grids and substations, raising the stability of power supply of customers, using up-to-date materials and equipment.
