GazEnergoStroy Corporation which is the only certified manufacturer of biogas plants reports to have signed three contracts on bio power plants manufacturing with the leading agricultural plants of Rostov region.
Each bio power plant is expected to process 500 tons of animal manure a day, and the electrical energy produced by these plants will be delivered back to the agricultural plants at the prices fixed by the regional energy committee. The bio power plants construction is planned to start already this year and putting them into operation is planned for the end of 2012.
The Governor of Rostov region Vasiliy Golubev who was invited to the signing of a contract stressed out the importance of such plants for the improvement of the environmental situation in the region. Besides, he promised to back selling organic fertilizers produced by means of processing animal manure at lower prices than those of artificial fertilizers
