OAO Transneft counts on China to settle its debt to Russia for oil deliveries to the Peoples Republic of China within 2-3 weeks. This was declared by the company’s president Nickolay Tokarev.
He also specified that at present China’s debt comprises 75 million American dollars (the total amount of the debt to Transneft and OAO Rosneft) and 700 thousand American dollars of late payment interest and fines owed to Transneft.
