A long term agreement on modernization of Pervomaysk combined heat and power plant has been signed in St. Petersburg by the companies Power Machines, CJSC Rotec and the Swiss company Sulzer.
Sulzer subdivision in the field of the turbine equipment service entered into consortium with the Russian leading manufacturer in the power engineering industry – Power Machines Company. The companies signed a contract on the long term service of the four gas turbine plants of the Pervomayskaya combined heat and power plant. The contract will bring Sulzer TurboServices 85 million euro. CJSC Rotec represented by the project director O.V. Shevchenko and TGC-1 Service represented by the CEO D.O. Zaytsev signed an agreement on creating a technical center to provide service for rotary equipments of the Russian energy industry enterprises in the Northwestern region.
The technical center in St.Petersburg will contribute to the increase in energy efficiency of the generating companies in the region, thinks Mikhail Lifshits, the Director for the development of high-technology assets of Renova Group.
