Ukraine is going to build two 110 kV power transmission lines and transformer yard for connecting the renewable energy facilities to the substations Reni (Odessa region) and Zheleznodorozhnoe (the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) for the funds provided by the European Union within the framework of supporting the energy strategy of Ukraine in the sphere of energy efficiency.
This decision was taken on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Besides, the EU funds will be spent on adapting the Ukrainian legislation to the European standards, on the research work in the sphere of renewable energy materials production, on creating the system of monitoring the “green” generation facilities operation.
Using the funds obtained from the EU Ukraine is also going to implement heat pumps, solid fuel heating, carry out the reconstruction of heating systems at state-financed organizations.
