Lukoil explains the increase in fuel prices in the Perm Territory in July by its concern about the citizens of the region.
As the head of the regional office of the antimonopoly service Dmitriy Makhonin said during the press-conference, this was the reason given in the letter which was received by the Perm office of FAS.
According to him, Lukoil representatives assure that the prices have been lifted to prevent customers from buying up all the petrol in Perm.
At present the regional office of the Federal antimonopoly service considers the possibility of filing an antimonopoly case in relation to OOO Lukoil-Permnefteprodukt.
