Gazprom is to put the gas pipeline Nord Stream into operation on November 8. This was declared by Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller at the meeting with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
“The construction of the first line has been completed, now the commissioning and start-up are being carried out and the pipeline is being filled with gas. Today, Vladimir Vladimirovich, I am ready to give you the exact date when the pipeline is to be put into operation: it is November 8 2011. As they said in the old days, for the November holidays”, — Miller is quoted at the website of the RF Government.
