The nuclear power plants of Ukraine increased the electricity production for the 10 months of 2011 compared to the same period of 2010 by 0.9% — to 73.4 billion KWh, this is reported by the State Enterprise National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom” (Kiev).
Among other instances there is Zaporozhskaya nuclear power plant which produced 33.3 billion KWh, Rovenskaya nuclear power plant – 13.9 billion, the South-Ukrainian NPP – 13.3 billion, Khmelnitskaya NPP – 12.6 billion. The Tashlykovskaya pumped-storage plant and the Alexandrovskaya hydro power plant, which are parts of the South-Ukrianian NPP produced 139.8 million and 37.6 million KWh of electricity respectively. The Donuzlavskaya wind farm produced 5.3 million KWh of electrical energy.
The nuclear power plants marketed69 billion KWH at the amount of 1.9 billion dollars im January-October this year. The share of Energoatom in the electrical supply structure comprised 48%.
The installed capacity utilization factor of Ukrainian nuclear power plants in January-October 2011 rose from 71.9% to 72.5%.
