Coal production in Russia in the period from January to July 2012 rose by 5.3% compared to the same period of 2011 – to 167 million 722.6 thousand tons. This is stated in the materials of the Energy Ministry of the Russian Federation (Minenergo). In June this year this parameter rose by 6.1% — to 26.559 million tons.
The export of the Russian coal in the period from January to June 2012 rose by 19.7% compared to the same period of past year – to 61.366 million tons, in June it rose by 11.9% — to 10.427 million tons.
According to the data from Minenergo, the coal production in Russia in 2011 rose by 4.3% — to 334.8 million tons. The export of Russian coal in the last year rose by 8.5% — to 104 million 655.6 thousand tons.
