The coal production in Russia in the period from January to October 2011 compared to the same period of 2010 rose by 3.2% — to 270 million tons. This is stated in the published materials of the Federal State Statistics Service.
Among others things they mention that the coal production in October rose by 10.5%.
Earlier the Ministry of Energy (Minenergo) of the Russian Federation reported that the coal production in Russia in the period from January to October 2011 increased by 3.7% — to 271 735.400 tons. In October 2011 this parameter rose by 10.4% against the same month of the previous year – to 31 052, 100 tons.
According to the data of Minenergo the coal production in Russia in 2010 compared to 2009 rose by 6.5% — to 320 922, 000 million tons. The coal export in 2010 against the precious year rose by 0.4% and comprised 97 421, 000 tons.
