The power supply in the grids 110-35-10 kV in the Novgorod region has been restored, but the weathermen announced a new storm coming.
The specialists of the branch of the IDGC of North-West «Novgorodenergo» completed the restoration works on the areas of the power transmission lines with voltage 110-35-10 kV damaged by the thunderstorm front. Almost 294 people worked in the 74 operational and maintenance teams for almost 24 hours to eliminate the technical damage. The power supply was restored in 493 population centers of the Novgorod region.
«We have completed the work on high voltage grids. In the first half of August 9 a number of our brigadess will still be working at the request of consumers in the settlements of 0.4 kV grids. In the area of responsibility of the production departments of the branch of IDGC of North-West more than 80 voltage overhead power lines 110-35-10 kV were damaged, 750 points of transformer power supply were de-energized, power supply of 493 settlements, home to 15,173 people, was interrupted.
