On September 4 at 10:20 a.m. as a result of the works on tree cutting along the motor road from the village of Parkovy to the village of Zeleny, which were carried out by some outsiders without compliance with OAO Kubanenergo, a poplar tree fell on the power transmission line 10 kV.
The subsequent breach of three cables resulted in de-energizing about 300 residents of the villages of Shosseyny and Parkovy at the Tikhoretskiy district.
The staff of OAO Kubanenergo responded to the accident quickly and efficiently. 6 employees of the Tikhoretsky Power Girds in two teams and one custom vehicle were engaged into the emergency response operations, one of the teems additionally sent from the Ternovsky rural area with the aim of the most efficient restoration of power supply.
Already one hour after the power outage, the functionin of 10 out of 17 de-energized population centers was brought to normal, and the power supply of over 180 consumers was restored. The vonsequences of the torn overhead lines were eliminated at 14:00, i.e. 4 hours after the accident.
