The rules of the game for foreign investors into Russian energy projects are not to be changed when the new government is formed after the President’s elections 2012, the deputy minister of Energy Minister of the Russian Federation Anatoliy Yanovsky said.
“The efficiency of any policy including the energy one shows itself first of all in the creation of sustainable rules for the participants of this relationship, In this sense the change of the government – in my opinion – should not result in changing the rules of the game”, — Yanovsky told the journalists in Paris.
He pointed out that the rules of foreign companies’ participation in the execution of a project on the territory of Russia are defined in accordance with the law on foreign investment which is the most progressive of all the similar laws in the world.
