According to the data of the grid enterprise Ekering all the windmills generated a total amount of 140 MWt of electricity. The electricity generated by the windmills made up o0ver 15 percent of all the electrical energy consumed in Estonia.
The previous record of electrical energy generation was set on September 14 2011 – on that day the whole wind farm of Estonia produced a total of 135 MWt.
The total capacity of the windmills throughout Estonia comprises almost 160 MWt.
