OAO RusHydro put in operation the fourth hydroelectric set of the Chirkeyskaya HPP in Dagestan, the company’s press-release says.
In the course of 8-month repair works at the hydroelectric set with the installed capacity of 250 MW the power transformer was fixed, the impeller and the rotor were rolled out, the turbine cover holder was reconstructed, and the overall repairs of the wicket gate was carried out.
“The total cost of the repairs funded with the money coming from the overhaul program of the retrofitting, reconstruction and development for 2011 comprised 49.9 million rubles”, the press-release says.
