MES Center has embarked on the replacement of an air circuit breaker 110 kV at the substation 500 kV Pakhra in the Moscow region. The works are being carried out within the framework of OAO UES FGC repair campaign for 2011.
Within the framework of the repair works the substation 5000 kV Pakhra had all the branching points of the circuit breaker 110 kV examined, the rundown spare parts replaced and oil recovered. After the repairs have been finished the circuit breaker underwent high-voltage testing.
Altogether 337 circuit breakers with the voltage 6 to 500 kV are to be repaired at the substations 220-750 kV belonging to MES Center.
