Nuclear power plant Paksh, Hungary
A visit of the representatives of NPP PAksh (Hungary) to OAO ZiO-Podolsk (a part of the machine-building division of Rosatom — Atomenergomash) took place. The delegation was headed by the expert of the contract department of NPP Paksh Wagner Peter.
The goal of the visit is to accept spherical balls, manufactured by the plant for NPP Paksh within the framework of the contract with ZAO Atomstroyexport. The spherical balls will be delivered to the NPP to carry out the scheduled maintenance of the primary circuit.
“We have been having long term and tight partner relationship with our Hungarian colleagues. From 2005 to 2008 our enterprise has manufactured and delivered 24 high-pressure preheaters for all the four generating units of NPP Paksh,” – says the General Director of OAO ZiO-Podolsk Igor Kotov. – The cost of the contract at that point comprised about 12 million euro. I am sure that our partnership will be as fruitful in future, especially considering the plans of the Hungarian party to start construction of 5th and 6th generating units, and to renew the service life of the operating reactors
