All the consumers are connected to the grid. During 1.5 days the power engineers resumed the operation of 4\34 overhead power transmission lines 6-10 kW, switched on the transformer substation 151.
The power engineers had to carry our repair works in he complicated weather conditions – during the day of Friday October 26 and the first half of Saturday October 27 the Leningradskaya region was facing severe wind with the blasts of up to 20 m/c and abundant snowfalls.
The majority of disturbances occurred in the remote hard-to access locations – forest and swamp areas. To deliver equipment and materials the repair brigades used custom vehicles – cross-country vehicles and snow and swamp-going vehicles.
In general the power cuts were not massive, they only occurred in underpopulated areas. The majority of consumers were promptly connected to the grid with the aim of fallback circuits. The main repair works were carried out in the Boksitorgskiy district of the region. 51 repair-recovery teams of Lenenergo and 68 custom vehicles were involved into the recovery of power grid. The company created an emergency response center headed by the chief-engineer – the Deputy General Direxctor of OAO Lenenergo in technical issues Maxim Artemyev. Emergence response teams also worked in the branchyes of the company in the Leningrad region.
Due to the unfavourable weather forecast in the regions the branch of OAO Lenenergo sustains the high alert regime.
